When... Why.... Where...
The Cottage
Dollars Cottage is situated in the Gower village of Llangennith which itself is in the heart of the Gower Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB). There have been many questions asked as to why the cottage is named "Dollars Cottage". There is no definitive answer but the most plausible is that it was used by smugglers to hide their $$$$!
The accomodation consists of 3 double bedrooms (one can be two single beds) and a single bedroom. The cottage has a fully equipped kitchen a shower room and a bathroom. heating is by way of radiators and a wooden fire in the living area. Many a dinner party, both in and out has been held at Dollars!

The main bathroom has a bath with hand held shower - great for washing little kids after a day outside

The secondary room is a shower room - soundproofed so you can sing away at your hearts content!
