Wilderness
As you may have gathered Gower is wild ... and beautiful! So.... get out there and enjoy it! There are many walks - short and long - just put your walking boots on and head out of the door. The Gower Coastal walk passes through the meadow (see below) so that is a good place to start. OS maps and guides are in the cottage for use - so please do but remember to return them for the next guests! On the off chance you have a wet day ....there is a drying area in the shed!
If you would like a guided tour on Gower look no further than Gower Wildlife Walks - They will take you to places you wouldn't have found in a million years!

The Meadow
Adjacent to the garden at Dollars Cottage is 'The Meadow' as our mother used to call it! It is left wild and with the help of the super knowledgable Dan at Tadorna Tours, we are in the process of further 'ReWilding" so new species are finding a home in the meadow every year! Feel free to roam through the meadow. Passing through the meadow is trough teh gate at the bottom of the garden. A number of walking paths pass through the meadow - so don't be alarmed if you meet other walkers there - we are all just guardians of the land for all to enjoy!
